BRONKO KORNHAUZER

Owner

Bronko brings over 25 years of experience in partnering with dentists across Western Canada as a dental consultant.

He has been involved in building hundreds of clinics and has assisted clients with clinic location and design, negotiating leases and securing financing. Bronko has also consulted on growth plans for practices, practice analysis, and Human Resources issues.

He has reviewed hundreds of practice evaluations and believes there is a more effective way to represent both the seller and the buyer.

With his specialized knowledge of the dental industry and the many contacts he’s made over the years, Bronko understands the key issues for both the seller and buyer. In providing the most accurate, comprehensive evaluation, all parties are satisfied including the banking professionals, lawyers, and accountants.

Bronko's knowledge, experience, and integrity allow him to create a successful evaluation and sale, while minimizing stress, and reducing the time involved in processing the sale.

Betty-Anne is passionate about helping dentists to understand, and navigate, the complexities of buying and selling dental clinics. She will be there for you, from the beginning to the end of the transaction. Experience
Crystal has more than 16 years of experience providing business valuation and litigation support services. She has qualified as an expert witness at the Alberta Land Compensation Board and the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta. Her valuation expertise includes valuations for purchase or sale of a business, corporate tax planning purposes, shareholder and partnership disputes, and matrimonial matters.
 
Her clients include private companies in a variety of industries in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
 
Crystal has prepared many business valuation reports for dental practices. She enjoys working on valuations in this industry, as it is an industry that is continually evolving with changing technology and industry consolidation. She looks forward to offering her independent business valuation expertise as part of the team of professional advisors assisting LPB Dental Services Ltd.

LYLE SCHUMACHER

Consultant

Lyle has over 25 years of experience in the management and operation of dental practices.  During this time Lyle has built, grown and sold several dental clinics in Alberta.  Working with his wife, Dr. Tracey Ruddick, they attribute their operational success to Tracey’s commitment to the highest level of patient care and Lyle’s ability to build culture in clinics that maintain consistency in this commitment.


Lyle’s experiences have included:
 
Sale of goodwill to an associate that transferred patients to their own clinic.
Partial sale of practice to associates to create a cost share arrangement then management of this cost share situation.  
Development, management, and lease negotiation of owner occupied building with other professional tenants.  
Associate clinic build, expansion to three associates, and eventual sale of the practice to one of the Associates.
Sale of a large four dentist clinic to a Dental Service Organization.
 
Lyle is passionate about dentistry and is excited to bring his years of unique experience in the dental industry to the team at LPB Dental Services.

LISA PHILP

Lisa Philp is the President of Transitions Group North America, a full service coaching company for dentistry. She graduated from East Tennessee State University as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1987. Her career began with clinical hygiene in United States and Canada to the creation of a periodontal disease management program in which she coached thousands of dental professionals. She is currently a leader, author, and coach and highly sought after North American speaker.


Lisa is committed to being an eternal student in the areas of personal growth, leadership, change management, human capital potential, adult learning, advanced training techniques and communication skills. Her mission is to make dentistry simple and fun allowing dental professionals to achieve personal and professional fulfillment in the workplace.

MICHAEL PERMACK

Michael Permack is an accomplished practice consultant with 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Michael specializes in guiding healthcare practitioners (HCPs) to improve the business performance of their practices to create better outcomes both financially and otherwise. 
His life's journey is unique and this drives his passion for helping HCPs. He is among the longest-lived brain tumour survivors on the planet. At the age of 29, Michael was diagnosed with the tumour. He was blindsided by the diagnosis and he had just completed his MBA at the Ivey School of Business and was married with two young children.
 
Over time in his conversations with doctors and dentists, he was astounded at the lack of respect that HCPs were provided. He has dedicated his career to help those HCPs who want to be better as defined on their own terms. 
"For some it's all about making money, for others it's a passion for their craft. Truly, healthcare professionals have a lot of pressure to perform every day. If I can support them to live a better life, it's the least I can do." He believes the changes in the healthcare industry will provide unique opportunities to those who position themselves correctly. Michael's charitable work with Canadian Cancer Society provincially and nationally have earned him the prestigious Medal of Courage Award and the Sovereign Medal for Volunteers from the Governor General of Canada. 
He is married and has three children.

Dave Cooper

Dave moved from Ontario in 1986 to Edmonton where he currently resides. Dave graduated from the University of Alberta in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. Dave joined Investors Group in 1993 and began overseeing the Yellowknife Office of Investors Group in 1996. Dave obtained his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1998.
In 2001 Dave decided to setup as an independent advisor, and started Tower Wealth Advisory. In 2006 Dave merged with a retiring advisor, which expanded his presence in the north, adding more Yellowknife based clients and new clients in Hay River.
Dave is also a portfolio manager with Wellington Altus Private Wealth. Wellington Altus provides investment tools allowing Dave to provide investment products to his clients.
Dave spends his leisure time golfing and travelling with his wife Julie and their three children. In the summer Dave travels to Ontario to visit friends and stay at the cottage.

Tyler Cockbain

Tyler was raised west of Edmonton Alberta in the community of Devon and attended the University of Alberta where he graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. In 2001 Tyler became interested in the Financial Planning field and began study of the Canadian Securities Course. In 2002 began working as a Financial Advisor.
By 2007 Tyler’s practice had grown substantially, he now had his own independent office know as Tower Wealth Advisory. Tyler achieved the Certified Financial Planner designation in 2008 to provide an even deeper understanding of the Wealth Advisory role.
Tyler is also a portfolio manager with Wellington Altus Private Wealth. Tyler enjoys camping with his family in the summers, golf and snowmobiling in the winter.

Todd has been representing office users in the Edmonton office market for over 25 years. His success is based on representing the sole interests of office cccupiers. He opposes the traditional commercial brokerage model of representing both landlords and occupiers because it is wrought with potential conflicts of interests. With no landlord influences to answer to, Todd’s negotiating efforts and recommendations to office occupiers are 100% transparent with full accountability, resulting in the highest caliber of representation available to office occupiers in Edmonton. Todd is a founding partner of the Cresa Edmonton office which opened in 2019. Cresa is the world’s largest occupier representation brokerage firm, and the only Edmonton firm to provide exclusive tenant representation.
Twenty months ago, the business world changed, and decision makers continue to grapple with the evolving workplace driven by shifting cultural trends, economic conditions, and vague public policy. Confusion reigns over understanding what industry terms such as "hybrid work", "remote work" and "hotelling" mean to an office user.
